It was in 2008 when Mr. Howon Kim, known in his English name as “Larry”, a Korean national, first set foot in the Philippines. From there, he learned to love the people and the country. It was during his stay in the Philippines that electric shortage started to be the hot topic. This gave birth to Cordillera Hydro Electric Power Corporation (COHECO). COHECO was established for the development of a 60MW hydropower plant through run-of-river system.

In 2016, we re-established a 500MW pumped storage power plant development company and are currently in the construction preparation stage.
